Who are we?

The Environmental Service (SEn) ensures the balance between humans and the environment in accordance with federal laws on water protection and environmental protection. To this end, it monitors environmental quality, contributes to the prevention of harmful impacts from new activities, ensures the remediation of existing installations causing damage, and informs authorities and the public about behaviours that cause detrimental environmental impacts.

Your tasks

For a period of 3 months, this internship is offered in the following main areas:

• Support for waste management activities, such as monitoring waste treatment facilities, managing building permits related to building pollutants, drafting information letters, or compiling statistics on various "waste" topics
• Contribution to tasks related to contaminated sites

Desired profile

• You have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of environment, geology, hydrogeology, geography, or an equivalent qualification
• You are proficient with common IT tools, especially Excel and Access
• You have excellent writing skills in French and a good knowledge of German
