Its 319 rooms in three categories, the fitness and wellness area, modern seminar rooms with the latest technical equipment, as well as the gastronomy with restaurant, bar and club promise a pleasant stay – both for business and private visits.
We are looking to complement our team with a committed personality as Event Sales Executive.
Co-responsible for sales and consulting in the area of event services as well as for active new customer acquisition. Development of customised solutions for customer events taking into account individual requirements and brand standards. Maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as identification of upselling potentials for sustainable revenue growth.
Job Description
- You are the central contact person for our customers and accompany events, seminars and banquets from inquiry to follow-up.
- Sell & advise: You create individual offers, present our possibilities and actively sell our hotel and event services.
- Keep everything in view: You maintain customer data and ensure with clear function sheets that all departments are well informed.
- Together to success: You work closely with Event Sales, Revenue Management and our operational teams to plan and implement events optimally.
- Make more out of every event: You actively follow up on offers and options and recognise opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Host on site: During the event you are an important contact person for our customers and ensure professional and personal care.
- Think ahead: You contribute ideas, further develop our event offerings and identify optimisation possibilities.
- Understand numbers: You keep an eye on sales activities, revenue developments and customer feedback and derive improvements from them.
Qualifications
- You have a completed training in hospitality, event management or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in event sales, banquet sales, convention sales or a similar function is an advantage.
- You have joy in selling, recognise customer needs and know how to find individual solutions.
- Organisation is your strength: You keep an overview even with several parallel events and work in a structured and reliable manner.
- You communicate professionally, service-oriented and gladly with different contact persons.
- You enjoy working with various departments and see yourself as an important interface between customer and hotel.
- You think entrepreneurially, recognise sales opportunities and bring ideas for upselling and cross-selling.
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications; experience with Opera Cloud is a great advantage.
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; further languages are a plus.
