About the job
spa*. is a dynamic architectural firm in Solothurn and is part of MIC.MIND.SET. This group is a leader in the digital project chain and employs around 75 staff. We distinguish ourselves through team spirit, collaboration, and exciting projects. The added value through the participation of the client and employees is paramount.
Teamwork is essential for us not only internally but also externally, with specialists, system developers, and craftsmen. This way, we can combine the needs of our clients, functional aesthetics, and innovation.
JUNIOR SITE MANAGER 80–100%
You have an eye for detail and want to take your experience from drafting to the construction site?
You know floor plans, sections, and execution details. Now you want to get closer to the action, find solutions with contractors, and experience how plans become spaces. With us, you get the opportunity to grow into site management and gradually take on more responsibility.
In everyday life, this means
You accompany our projects from the execution plan to implementation. Experienced site managers are at your side, sharing their knowledge and supporting you when new questions arise.
You help coordinate contractors, organise construction sites, and keep an eye on costs, deadlines, and quality. You check executions, document construction progress, and investigate discrepancies. With growing experience, you take on your own tasks and gain confidence in your decisions.
In addition, there is a well-coordinated team, a relaxed atmosphere at eye level, and room for your professional and personal development.
Who we are looking for
We are not looking for site tamers or lone fighters.
We are looking for people with overview, humour, and backbone. People who take responsibility, enjoy working with planners and contractors, and know: good site management requires trust, clarity, and integrity.
If you like being outdoors but never lose the red thread. If you love quality but remain pragmatic. If you stay calm even when three things happen at once – then you fit quite well with us.
For us, it’s not just about building. It’s about how.
Your profile
- Mandatory: completed training as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture or building draughtsperson
- Possibly already some site management experience in Switzerland and interest in construction processes, execution, and starting in site management
- Confident handling of costs, deadlines, tenders, and contractor coordination, ideally experience with Messerli
- Good knowledge of Swiss standards, construction processes, and execution details
- Clear communication, organisational talent, and enjoyment of direct contact with people
- Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible working style
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Openness to digital tools and modern working processes
