In this responsible role, you will take on responsibility together with your team for the correct handling of complex benefit requests in the field of medications. Together with your team, you will ensure smooth processes, simplify structures, and optimise the underlying procedures.

What you will achieve:
- Professional and personnel management of a larger team in benefits management for medications/genetics as well as promotion and development of employees
- Responsibility for the operational management of the team with a focus on quality, efficient processing, prioritisation, and adherence to defined processing and performance targets
- Ensuring correct and consistent benefit assessment, especially for cost approval requests in the area of medications, as well as the full recovery of cost contributions from SL price models and Art. 71a–d KVV
- Ensuring and further developing processes, directives, and quality standards including expert checks, implementation controls, and continuous process optimisation
- Active participation in shaping and further developing the specialist area as well as collaboration with relevant internal interfaces and involvement in cross-departmental projects and committees
Why you will succeed:
- In addition to a successfully completed education in the medical or commercial field, you bring a good understanding of medical as well as insurance-related issues
- You already have several years of professional experience in the benefits area of a health insurance company or in a comparable environment and ideally know the specifics in the field of medications and also have experience in leading employees or bring the potential and motivation to effectively lead and develop a larger team
- You convince with your organisational talent, decisiveness, and structured way of working and keep an overview even with a high workload and different priorities
- Your high IT and process affinity complete your profile
- You communicate fluently in German, and French, Italian and/or English are a plus
