About the job

Approximately 550 pupils in 26 classes as well as around 80 staff shape the Tägelmoos Primary School from kindergarten to 6th grade. The modern QUIMS school with a school island is diverse and development-oriented.

We are looking for three principals with a workload of 70% each, starting 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

As a three-person school leadership team, you will jointly take responsibility for the management and further development of the school. It is currently in a demanding phase of development. Reliable leadership and collaboration structures need to be developed, and the development of the school, teaching, and support must be specifically strengthened. The design of the future leadership structure will be carried out in close coordination with the Education Management.

Your Tasks

• Operational management of the school in organisational and financial matters
• Personnel management of staff
• Educational leadership as well as steering of school, teaching, and quality development
• Representing the school internally and externally
• Collaboration with the school board, Education Management, school care management, and school principals in Winterthur

Your Profile

• Several years of leadership experience with personnel responsibility in a school environment, ideally as a principal
• Completed or advanced principal training as well as teaching experience at kindergarten or primary level
• Strong communication skills, appreciation, and the ability to provide orientation, formulate clear expectations, and implement decisions reliably
• Ability to quickly grasp complex situations, prioritise, maintain an overview, and lead confidently even in demanding situations
• Sound competencies in school, teaching, and quality development
• Strong integrative attitude and the ability to anchor this in educational leadership and promote it among staff
• Business management understanding as well as a responsible and impact-oriented approach to resources
