Responsibilities
- You drive and operate our specialised vehicles and operate the mounted units for the operational maintenance of the municipal sewer network as well as private drainage systems.
- You coordinate the work on site, professionally lead employees and apprentices, and ensure smooth information and knowledge transfer.
- You carry out the work in the sewer network professionally, secure and signal the work areas, and ensure strict compliance with our safety regulations and protective measures.
- You keep an eye on the condition of your vehicle and technical equipment, report necessary maintenance and repair work, and assist with their execution.
- You document the work performed, initiate urgent measures if necessary, and flexibly support other areas of drainage work.
Profile
- Completed training as a truck driver (EFZ) or technical vocational training
- Several years of professional experience as a truck driver in category C / CE and strong technical understanding
- Driving licences categories B, C and CE, ADR / SDR training as well as CZV competence certificate
- Very good German skills (level C1), good knowledge of the city is an advantage
- Good physical condition and willingness to work varying hours including night and Saturday shifts (approx. 4 weeks per year) as well as participation in on-call duty (approx. 6 weeks per year), which are additionally remunerated
