The RgZ Foundation has been supporting the development, life design, and social integration of people with movement disorders, developmental impairments, intellectual or multiple disabilities for over 65 years.
In eight early counselling and therapy centres for children, two special education schools, two day centres, a sheltered workshop, a bicycle workshop, a restaurant, six socially pedagogically supervised apartments, and a residential home for adults, around 280 employees annually promote, teach, care for, and employ approximately 3400 children, adolescents, and adults.
To strengthen our team in the laundry and housekeeping department in Stallikon, we are looking for a
Housekeeping and Laundry Staff Member with Educational Role (60%)
Your Tasks
- Professional supervision of the employees to be cared for: allocation, coordination, and control of work assignments for clients
- Ensuring a smooth laundry process and securing the quality of the end product including ongoing quality control
- Co-responsible for the training and guidance of PrA apprentices in laundry and housekeeping
- Supports decision-making regarding the support measures for the entrusted employees
- Responsibility for the processing of in-house and resident laundry, taking cost and consumption control into account
- Compliance with all legal regulations, especially in handling chemicals and hazardous substances, etc.
Your Profile
- You have training or further education in the educational, social, or caregiving field (e.g. Agogis) or bring experience in supporting people with disabilities.
- A completed training in housekeeping, hospitality, or a comparable field is an advantage.
- You enjoy working in the laundry and practical housekeeping tasks.
- You treat people with disabilities with appreciation, respect, and on an equal footing.
- You work reliably, independently, and responsibly and at the same time enjoy being part of a team.
- You bring patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- You have good German language skills in spoken and written form.
