Netball Assistant Coach
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 years representing more than 130 nationalities. - Hours: Tuesdays 16:30-18:00 Y7-9 (assistant coach); Thursdays 16:45-18:15 Y10-13 (coach)

Why this role is important:
As a Netball Assistant Coach, you play a key role in introducing and developing our students in this captivating team sport. By supporting the head coach, you help create a dynamic, safe, and caring learning environment. You assist young people in developing their motor skills, team spirit, and sportsmanship, fundamental values upheld by Ecolint.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in leading and conducting the weekly netball session on Tuesday afternoons.
- Propose dynamic, fun, and age-appropriate exercises tailored to the participants' level.
- Participate in building the annual activity schedule with clear progression objectives by age category.
- Opportunity to supervise and coach our teams during matches or sports competitions.
- Collaborate actively and openly within the sports department coaching team.
Profile sought:
Skills and Experience
- Be active in the netball community as a player and/or coach.
- Practical experience in teaching, leading, or coaching netball with young people (11 to 18 years).
- Priority will be given to candidates who have already worked in a school setting or have significant experience with young people.
- Proficiency in French and/or English.
Your personal qualities:
- Excellent rapport with children and adolescents in a multicultural context.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to the weekly Wednesday session.
