Auditor/Legal Internship 100%
At the heart of the economy – this is where we operate at the Commercial Register Office of the Canton of Zurich, processing over 70,000 business transactions annually with our 75 employees. We are responsible for all registrations of companies based in the Canton of Zurich and ensure transparency and legal certainty in business transactions.
Do you want to lay a solid foundation for your future career in the financial sector or in a commercial law firm? Are you interested in business law matters? If you are also looking for a challenging internship that offers you an in-depth insight into corporate law, then we definitely should get to know each other.
As our new auditor, you will be part of a twelve-member team of lawyers during your fixed-term employment of 9 to 12 months. Start immediately or by arrangement.
These tasks await you
- You review and process legal registration transactions of domestic and foreign companies of all legal forms. In doing so, you will focus particularly on new registrations, amendments to articles of association, and changes in share capital & gain insight into selected more complex registration transactions;
- You prepare commercial register applications and registration orders;
- You advise companies, lawyers, and fiduciary firms by providing written and telephone information on commercial register law questions.
Your profile
- You have completed your law degree (Master) and ideally already gained some professional experience, preferably related to corporate law;
- Your quick comprehension, interconnected thinking, and focused working style distinguish you;
- You have solid MS Office user skills and excellent German language skills. Good English and French skills are an advantage;
- Because you are resilient and highly self-motivated, you remain calm even when the workload is higher and the phone rings more often;
- Despite many trees, you do not lose sight of the forest and manage to stay efficient and effective;
You can expect a lot
- Although we operate within a tight legal framework and a structured environment, we live flat hierarchies, are very digitally advanced, straightforward, open, and also like to laugh;
- Our offices are centrally located and we offer progressive employment conditions.
Application
If you are curious about which projects we work on besides daily business, what our Bingo lunch is, or what skills our robot has, do not hesitate to ask us your questions! You can contact Martin Werren, Team Leader Lawyers, by phone at 043 259 74 66. Please send your application electronically via the link. Please let us know when you would like to start with us and whether you want to stay for 9 or 12 months. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
