Schlieren is a dynamic, growing town in the Limmat Valley with around 20,000 inhabitants. As a reliable employer, the town of Schlieren offers a professional environment to deliver excellent services.
With a differentiated range of care and support services at three different locations, the town provides around 80 elderly residents with varying care and support needs a homely environment with professional services. Around 120 employees and trainees ensure the well-being of the elderly at the Sandbühl retirement centre as well as in two different care apartments and in assisted living at Bachstrasse and Mühleacker.
To support our team in Assisted Living Mühleacker, we are looking for a
Dipl. Nursing Specialist PWM HF 80-100 %
Your main tasks
Responsibility for specialist tasks:
- Managing the care process, service planning, admission interviews, RAI LTCF, care documentation, key worker duties, implementation of care concepts
- Wound care, medication management, blood sampling, carrying out key nursing care, catheterisation, etc.
- Providing input, execution control, regular review of daily structure, nutrition-specific assessment, etc.
- Billing, organisation of transports, etc.
- Supporting new employees, participating in the practical training of trainees, handling or co-handling defined project tasks, etc.
- Daily responsibility according to the deployment plan including allocation of personnel resources, etc.
- Implementing measures for a more holistic care of residents, supporting health promotion
Collaboration/Communication
- Interaction with colleagues, residents, relatives and suppliers is appreciative, respectful and authentic
- Informing relevant parties in sensitive or exceptional situations
- Active teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ensuring the flow of information
Quality Management
- Implementing the prescribed quality standards
- Proper handling of materials and equipment
Your profile
- Diploma in nursing (AKP, PSYKP, DNI, DNII or HF)
- Proven expertise in long-term care
- Social skills, especially communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Organisational talent
- Commitment and flexibility
- Willingness to change and eagerness to learn, readiness for continuous further training
- Good PC user skills
