Software Engineer Automation (m/f/d)

In this varied and exciting position, you will primarily deal with controls and multi-axis drive systems from B&R, HMI applications, and vision systems for our high-tech packaging machines. You will work in young, dynamic, and interdisciplinary project teams and, depending on your suitability and skills, have the opportunity to delve into specific topics and become a knowledge bearer within the department.

Your role in our team

• Project management automation in the area of software and hardware for customer projects
• Software engineering of machine controls and implementation of software concepts
• Development and commissioning of interfaces to third-party machines
• Support for the internal commissioning of machines and third-party devices in the area of automation
• Preparation of machine retrofits and modifications as well as their commissioning

at the customer’s site

• Occasional troubleshooting assignments at the customer

Your profile

Thanks to your independent and quality-conscious working style, you face every challenge, and you love to analyze and develop solutions. Team spirit, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility round off your profile.

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or technician studies (HF/FH)
• Experience in industrial automation
• Good PLC knowledge (B&R is an advantage)
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%)
