Exclusively for our client Eldora, which operates a canteen at the Vocational Training Centre for Business, IT and Technology in Willisau, we are offering from 15 October 2026 a permanent position to a qualified individual as
Operations Staff in the Kitchen and Dishwashing with a workload of 70% to 80%Job Description
- Responsible for washing dishes and kitchen utensils
- Cleaning tasks in the kitchen, at the buffet and in the dining area
- Preparation of salads and desserts
- Assisting with menus, supporting the head chef
- Operating the till during peak times
- Setting up and clearing the buffet
- Serving food during lunch
Approximately 60 to 80 pupils and teachers are catered for daily in this canteen.
Desired Profile- You bring several years of kitchen experience
- Ideally in communal catering
- Guest- and service-oriented, with an eye for detail
- Organisational talent, clean working method
- Team player, flexible, eager to work and responsible
- Fluent German skills, at least B1 level required
- Experience with the till and dishwashing
- You must be able to work independently as you will be working in a two-person team
As this is a school operation, the position is associated with 13 weeks of holiday at the exact times of the school holidays.
5 weeks of these are paid and 8 weeks are UNPAID.
During this time, you are free to work in other businesses
