Head of Logistics Department (100%)

• Lead, motivate, develop: You strengthen and develop your team leaders and employees (a total of approx. 80 employees) in a targeted manner, promote leadership skills, and guide the organisation through a dynamic growth phase.
• Master personnel and deployment planning: Optimal shift planning (3-shift operation), emergency organisation, and resource management are in your hands.
• Keep performance, quality, and costs under control: You are responsible for goods receipt, storage, order picking, disposal, and shipping – including budgets, inventory, and stock management.
• Technology & plant operation: You ensure the availability of all systems (including highly automated high-bay and small parts warehouse and external outdoor storage).
• Optimise logistics processes: Quality and efficiency – You further develop processes, procure capital goods, and ensure their sustainable maintenance as well as continuous improvement in the sense of CIP.
• Live HSSE & compliance: Occupational safety, health, environment, legal requirements, ISO standards, and internal guidelines – you comply with everything and further develop it.
• Reporting & control: Statistics, KPIs, and BSC reports serve as your basis to continuously monitor and improve logistics performance.
• Quality & projects: Support in quality cases, process notifications, and active participation in relevant projects.

• Completed technical or logistics vocational training (e.g. logistics specialist EFZ) plus advanced professional training in logistics
• Many years of leadership experience with responsibility for large teams (at least 80 people) as well as the ability to accompany and further develop teams and leaders in a dynamic growth environment
• At least 10 years of professional experience in international industrial, commercial, or logistics companies in operations with a focus on logistics
• Solid experience in successfully implementing operational excellence initiatives, process optimisation, change management, and cross-departmental transformation projects
• Very good IT and SAP knowledge (SD, MM, PP, EWM) and confident communication in German (at least C1) and English (at least B2)
• Entrepreneurial thinking, decisiveness, and high independence
• Team player with assertiveness: strong communication skills, conflict competence, reliability, and structured working style
• Practical requirements: electric pedestrian stacker licence and willingness to work shifts
