DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is the full-service provider for the railway infrastructure of Deutsche Bahn. We plan and build all railway infrastructure facilities and maintain them. With our trades in track construction, technical systems, structural engineering, as well as the coordination of major projects, we operate at over 40 locations throughout Germany. For this, we need you: Join DB Bahnbau Gruppe and help us build a strong rail network for future generations.

You will go through our internal qualification programme (including regular further training), which includes both theoretical and practical teaching sections.

For this varied and interesting activity, we are looking for you for a lateral entry as a fitter for overhead line systems (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH for changing construction sites.

Already during your qualification, you will take on the following tasks:

• As part of a strong and qualified team, you will install overhead line systems in the field of railway infrastructure
• You will carry out maintenance activities on the overhead line systems
• Executing orders according to the instructions of the site managers and construction team leaders is one of your responsible tasks
• As part of your work, you will operate small machines such as two-way work platforms

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed vocational training (preferably in the metal or assembly sector), for example as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electrician, or have a comparable qualification
• We are also happy to give career starters a chance and will provide intensive training
• You feel comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• You are willing to obtain the train driver’s licence
• You are willing to work in Baden-Württemberg, occasionally nationwide, and to take on shift and night work
• A category B driving licence completes your profile
