Your Tasks
Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to improve patients' body awareness, cognitive and emotional regulation, as well as social interaction
Planning, developing, and implementing tailored sports and movement therapy concepts for patients with mental illnesses, taking into account specific psychological and somatic resources
Interdisciplinary cooperation with the treatment team to ensure holistic and competent care
Documentation and performance recording of therapies in the clinical information system (CIS)
Your Profile
Certification as a graduate in sports sciences with a possible CAS in "Movement and Sports Therapy for Mental Illnesses" or an equivalent qualification in movement and body therapy
Sound knowledge and experience of various movement therapy methods, techniques, and exercises to promote body awareness, emotional regulation, and social integration of patients
Understanding of various mental illnesses, their symptoms, progression patterns, and treatment options
High social competence and empathy in dealing with patients
Communication skills for patient education
Teamwork skills and enjoyment of specialised and interdisciplinary collaboration in a clinical setting
