Clerk I

Tasks:
- drafting of judgement projects
- preparation of reports
- case file management
- participation in hearings
- conducting legal research
- preparation of sheets for the publication of judgements on the internet
Requirements:
- lawyer's licence, doctorate in Swiss law, or master of law or degree in Swiss law
- excellent knowledge (speaking and writing) of Italian and good knowledge (speaking and writing) of at least one other official language
- ability to work independently and conduct legal research
- editorial skills
- knowledge of criminal law
- no ongoing enforcement proceedings justified and no certificates of asset deficiency
- no registration in the criminal record
- Swiss citizenship
Special remarks:
- the position of Clerk I (class 11) may only be assigned to candidates holding complete academic qualifications: university degree, diploma, consecutive master’s degree or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and who have at least 15 years of professional experience in the required field
- the position of Clerk II (class 10) will be assigned only to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or a short degree or to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and holding complete academic qualifications: university degree, diploma, consecutive master’s degree or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)

Employment conditions:
- appointment or assignment: those provided for by the Law on the Organisation of State Employees and Teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organisation are explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment rate), flexible or according to service requirements
