The Sonnengarten Housing Cooperative (BGS) has over 1200 apartments and provides a home for more than 3000 people in Zurich and the Limmat Valley. From our headquarters in Triemli, we have been committed since 1944 to affordable housing and a diverse community life. As a team, we actively shape the life and living of the future and continuously develop ourselves.

We are looking for a Project Manager in the Residential Sector to start immediately or by arrangement. You will be part of our Residential team and report directly to the Head of Residential.

What to expect

• You will lead projects related to living, renting, and community life, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• You will develop concepts and accompany their implementation, for example for outdoor spaces and participation processes.
• You will further develop processes in the residential sector, e.g. for the integration of new members.
• You will participate in cross-departmental projects and represent the perspective of living and our residents, e.g. in new builds or renovations.
• You will clarify complex issues, prepare decision-making bases, and support the Head of Residential conceptually and coordinatively.

What you bring

Most importantly, we value your experience in project management:

• You plan projects in a structured way and work proactively and independently.
• You involve colleagues from various areas appropriately and engage them throughout all project phases.
• You distil complex content clearly and convince with your communication and presentation skills.
• You think conceptually while acting pragmatically, solution- and decision-oriented.

Ideally, you bring experience from a dynamic, service-oriented environment – for example from event management, hospitality, socio-cultural sectors, or a comparable industry in an SME setting. A commercial education or degree as well as several years of project management experience complete your profile. And since we are a housing cooperative, you should be interested in the topics of living, housing, and building.
