We are a successful manufacturing company with around 70 employees and an open informal culture. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who will actively support our accounting department and act as an important hub between customers, suppliers, and internal departments. We are seeking a motivated Accounting Clerk (50%) (m/f/d) to join our team from March 2027.
Your tasks
In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for financial administration and be the contact person for various internal and external stakeholders.
Accounts receivable management
- Managing accounts receivable bookkeeping
- Monitoring outstanding items
- Maintaining, checking, and adjusting credit limits as well as approving customer orders
- Dunning and debt collection
- Contact with customers regarding queries and payment clarifications
Accounts payable management
- Recording, checking, and posting supplier invoices
- Checking and archiving invoices and payment approvals
- Conducting payment transactions
- Reconciling accounts payable accounts
Additional tasks
- Posting and reconciling bank accounts
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as sales, purchasing, production, and management
- Regular exchange with our sales office in Western Switzerland
- General administrative tasks in the finance area
- Maintaining and checking the archiving system
Your profile
- Commercial basic training
- Professional experience in accounting, ideally in a comparable role
- Good knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable bookkeeping
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
- Enjoyment in contact with customers, suppliers, and internal contacts
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
- French language skills for collaboration with our sales office in Western Switzerland are an advantage
- IT affinity and experience with ERP systems; knowledge of BMD and/or A+W is a plus
