The Kartause Ittingen is one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland and offers a highly versatile and exciting environment with hotel, seminar, and banquet operations, restaurants, agriculture, viticulture, cheese production, gardening, fish farming, butchery, as well as a program for supported work and living. It also houses the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittingen Museum.
In this exciting environment, around 200 employees work in approximately 50 different professions with various workloads. An additional 60 supported employees find a daily structure in protected workplaces.
To strengthen our HR team of two, we are looking for an
HR Area Manager (m/f) 80 - 100%
for this challenging and varied position, the following tasks are included:
Responsible for an assigned area within the company
Independent personnel recruitment in collaboration with the line
Obtaining approvals
Independent handling of all personnel administration from entry to exit
Independent management of payroll accounting for the assigned area including social insurance and annual closing
Monitoring of work time planning and controls
Declarations and reports of social insurances including case monitoring (accident, illness, and pension fund/BVG)
Point of contact and advisory service for employees and supervisors in HR matters and labor law
Conducting various types of conversations in collaboration with the line
Participation in the further development of a modern HR
Organization of training offers, organization and execution of events
What you bring:
Further education as an HR specialist with federal diploma
At least 5 years of HR experience, relevant experience in payroll accounting
In-depth ABACUS knowledge is a prerequisite
English skills are an advantage
Accurate, efficient, and independent working style
Discreet and trustworthy personality
Team ability and high social competence
Flexibility and high personal responsibility
