Job Description

• Leading the logistics and on-site services staff in Basel and Brügg
• Ensuring smooth logistics for customer waste at the platform (for Basel, Brügg, Emmenbrücke).
• Quality assurance, including defining disposal routes for incoming materials and determining potential disposal methods for samples.
• Packing and sorting of mixed deliveries.
• Development and expansion of the Brügg site as well as business development in the repackaging sector while adhering to Veolia's safety standards.
• Planning available resources considering customer needs.
• Optimising operational processes within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Improving processes in collaboration with adjacent interfaces.

Qualifications

• Technical basic training with further education in logistics or supply chain management.
• Extensive experience in supply chain, contract logistics, or industrial waste management.
• Several years of experience in staff management and process optimisation.
• Good knowledge of legal requirements regarding occupational safety, environmental protection, and handling of hazardous substances is advantageous.
• Forklift licence would be an advantage.
• Comprehensive IT skills; good knowledge of SAP and Excel is beneficial.
• Pragmatic and resilient personality with entrepreneurial thinking and a hands-on mentality.
• Very good German and French skills, English is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel at least 2 days per week to Basel and/or Emmenbrücke (main location: Brügg).
