Technician Simulation & IT Support (m/f/d)

Location: Dübendorf / Zurich
Workload: 80–100 %

ELITE Simulation Solutions AG develops and produces professional flight simulators and training systems for flight schools, training organisations and other customers worldwide.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a technically skilled and reliable person who prepares our simulator PCs, tests complete simulator systems and supports our customers in technical support.

Your tasks

• Setting up and configuring Windows PCs for our flight simulators
• Installation and configuration of our simulator software, drivers and other required programmes
• Setup and testing of network, graphics, audio and USB components
• Preparation of PCs and hardware for new simulator projects
• Carrying out functional and system tests on complete flight simulators
• Testing cockpit functions, displays, controls and connected hardware
• Systematic troubleshooting of hardware, software and network issues
• Documentation of errors and test results
• Supporting our customers by phone, email and remote access
• Analysis and resolution of technical support cases
• Close collaboration with our developers, project managers and technicians
• Support during commissioning and occasionally on site at the customer if required

Your profile

You do not have to be an aerospace engineer. Much more important is that you think technically, work in a structured way and enjoy finding and solving problems.

Ideally, you bring the following:

• Training or experience in IT, electronics, automation, mechatronics or a comparable technical field
• Very good knowledge of working with Windows PCs
• Experience with PC hardware, drivers, networks and peripherals
• Experience with X-Plane, Prepar3D or comparable simulation software is an advantage
• Ability for structured troubleshooting
• Interest in complex technical systems
• Independent, careful and solution-oriented working style
• Good German skills
• Good English skills for communication with international customers
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact

Knowledge in the field of flight simulation, aviation or simulator software is an advantage but not a requirement.
