Assistant Instructor
Espace Couvaloup is a social work and activity center of the City of Morges that offers various activities throughout the year as well as neighborhood events for the entire public. We are looking, to support certain sociocultural activities offered by the youth social work team, for a:
Assistant Instructor
Main tasks:
- lead social, cultural, or sports activities for young people aged 8 to 18 in the center, neighborhoods, and gym halls
- manage, supervise, and create connections with a group during activities including free reception
- encourage public participation.
We are looking for:
- experience in supervising young adolescents
- energy, interpersonal skills, listening to the community, sociability, and initiative
- ability to collaborate with the social work team
- ability to consider the different cultural, social, and religious backgrounds of the youth
- ongoing training in the field or willingness to train is an asset.
Conditions:
- Hours:
- Free reception: mandatory availability on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons every week
- School holidays (except winter): availability in the afternoons
- Possibility to participate in group supervisions and training sessions
- Salary: hourly pay according to the City of Morges salary scale.
Start date: as soon as possible or to be agreed upon
