The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. Electrician 60 - 100 %
The Technical Service ensures a safe, functioning infrastructure and a pleasant environment for the residents. To strengthen our seven-member team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start:
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You are responsible for the maintenance of buildings and technical systems, troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs independently.
- You jointly manage the locking system with the team and take care of key management.
- You support internal moves, transports and events and ensure that rooms and technical facilities are ready for use.
- You are part of our on-call organisation and usually take on the 7x24-hour standby duty one week per month.
- Depending on your suitability and interest, you have the opportunity to support our ICT team with around 20% of your workload in first-level support.
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as an electrician, electrical installer or assembly electrician, ideally with experience in maintenance or building technology. A federal specialist certificate as a maintenance specialist as well as an NIV permit according to Art. 13 and 15 are advantageous.
- You live in the region and can be on site within 60 minutes for on-call duties. You have a category B driving licence; category D1 is an advantage or you are willing to obtain it.
- You are a versatile all-rounder with manual skills, like to get stuck in and find pragmatic solutions.
- You have good basic IT knowledge and are open to new software and technical systems.
- You are a team player, resilient and communicative and maintain a respectful and appreciative attitude towards elderly people and your environment.
