The Vista Eye Practices & Clinics with around 35 locations and approximately 500 employees are the largest provider of ophthalmology in Switzerland. We offer first-class medical services for our patients and set standards in the specialised fields of ophthalmology, eye surgery, and eye laser medicine.

Your tasks

• Professional and personnel management of the financial accounting team, currently with four employees; in this role, you report directly to the Finance Director
• Responsibility for financial and liquidity planning
• Optimisation of net working capital (DSO, DIO, DPO)
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
• Consolidation of the Swiss sub-group for the group financial statements including monthly reporting package
• Management of direct and indirect taxes (VAT, income tax, withholding tax)
• Contact person for internal and external bodies (audit, authorities, trustees, etc.)
• Development and implementation of internal processes and control mechanisms (ICS)
• Integration of new locations and companies
• Active and independent participation in projects

Your profile

• Solid education and training in finance and accounting (e.g. Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting or equivalent)
• Several years of leadership experience in financial accounting with profound expertise and quick comprehension
• Leadership skills with a participative style and high social competence
• Confident handling of financial reporting and accounting standards according to Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS as well as experience in preparing annual financial statements
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent and process-oriented working style with a focus on solution-oriented, efficient and continuous improvement
• Extensive experience with ERP systems (Navision, LucaNet/consolidation) as well as very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
• German and English skills are required
