At the Chair of Controlling/Performance Management (Prof. Dr. Klaus Möller) of the Institute for Accounting, Controlling and Auditing at the University of St.Gallen (ACA-HSG), positions for research associates are to be filled. Our team of professors, postdocs, and doctoral candidates combines high-quality research with empirical practical orientation. It has excellent access to practice through various platforms, such as the Hilti Lab for Integrated Performance Management or the Performance Management Academy. Your Tasks
We work on various research questions, for example:
- How can organizations manage topics such as "impact," "sustainability," or other difficult-to-measure topics?
- How do organizations control the behavior and performance of their employees in a post-disciplinary era?
- How can different types of organizations, e.g., family businesses or non-profit organizations, implement/adjust traditional performance management concepts?
- How does artificial intelligence change established controlling approaches? Or contact us directly with your own research ideas!

Your Profile
- Above-average master’s degree
- Independent and team-oriented working style
- Strong interest in empirical research
- Ideally experience in designing and evaluating empirical studies
- High commitment and willingness to perform
- Analytical thinking skills
- Very good German and English skills
