About the job
Your tasks include
- Building relationships on an equal footing with patients
- Consultation talks in the sense of empowerment and recovery
- Conveying experiential knowledge and support in using assistance services
- Individual support of patients upon discharge, if necessary outreach and supportive, e.g. with official appointments, finding accommodation or establishing a daily structure
- Support and networking with aftercare services, e.g. self-help groups
- Collaboration in the multiprofessional team and bringing in the peer perspective
You bring with you
- Your own reflected experience with mental crises and recovery processes
- Completed PEER training («EX-IN» or comparable training)
- High ability to work in a team and pronounced social skills
- Good computer skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with the institution's information and planning systems.
- Commitment to the further development of peer work in everyday clinical practice
- Driving license category B
