Your Tasks
The three-year further training in hospital pharmacy leads to the acquisition of the federal advanced training title as a specialist pharmacist in hospital pharmacy with an expected completion in May 2029. The specialist training takes you through the different departments of hospital pharmacy and includes acquiring the following competencies: patient-oriented pharmacy and clinical services, drug management, drug manufacturing with sterile and non-sterile formulation and compounding including quality control and quality management, management and personal skills; detailed information on content and learning objectives can be found in the training program on the GSASA website (www.gsasa.ch). You will work for several months in the various departments of hospital pharmacy and participate about three times a year in the on-call service of hospital pharmacy. The theoretical basic knowledge is acquired in the accompanying further education course DAS Hospital Pharmacy at the University of Basel. The position can be started from January 2026, but the latest start date to ensure the targeted completion date is March 1, 2026. Please note that this is a full-time further training.
Your Profile
You are a federally certified pharmacist or pharmacist with a recognized foreign diploma and ideally have initial professional experience in a community or hospital pharmacy. However, the position is also suitable for career starters. You are persistent, eager to learn, and interested in the different facets of hospital pharmacy. In addition, you enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and have fluent German skills in spoken and written form.
