YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Leading, promoting and motivating the E-IXL Fundamentals team within the framework of company policy, strategy and annual goals
- Supporting the head of the E-IXL department in strategic and operational matters
- Assisting project managers with complex technical challenges
- Participating in the acquisition and tendering for E-IXL projects
- Ensuring compliance with technical standards and norms in the E-IXL environment
- Technical collaboration within the team
- Representing the interests of the team within the organisation
- Promoting internal communication and coordination
- Other related technical, organisational and personnel tasks
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering or comparable technical education
- Ability to strategically and operationally lead a technical team, ideally in the railway environment
- Several years of professional experience in the development and architecture of safety-critical systems, ideally in the railway environment
- Experience with PLC systems, industrial controls and COTS components as well as knowledge of network technologies and digital interfaces
- Knowledge of the application of CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50716/50128) is an advantage
- Experience in supporting project managers with complex technical challenges
- Knowledge in acquisition and tendering for ESTW projects
- Expertise in the design and documentation of complex system architectures
- Experience in the integration of subsystems and interface management
- Very good German skills (C1), good English skills for technical documentation and international collaboration
- Strong leadership qualities, motivational ability and role model function
- High personal responsibility, quality awareness and decisiveness
