Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this internship, you will gain a unique insight into the digital infrastructure behind the Swiss transmission grid. You will work in the operation and further development of our Kubernetes platform, support automations, and contribute your own ideas. From the start, you will take on responsibility and learn how modern container platforms are operated reliably, securely, and scalably in critical infrastructure. Together with the team, you will take on the following tasks:
- Support in creating, maintaining, and further developing Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments
- Collaboration on automations and infrastructure-as-code with Git-based workflows
- Problem analysis of container workloads, assistance with troubleshooting, and platform documentation
- Collaboration on documenting processes, architectures, and best practices
- Getting to know current DevOps tools and cloud-native practices in the environment of a nationally relevant IT platform

You fit with us if you are curious, enjoy understanding technical contexts, and want to learn in a committed team. You think structurally, tackle tasks independently, and want to develop your skills in a meaningful environment. Additionally, you bring the following:
- Ongoing or recently completed studies in computer science
- First contact with containers, Kubernetes, Helm, or a strong motivation to quickly familiarise yourself with these topics
- Basic knowledge of using Git
- Basic understanding of Linux, networks, or scripting is an advantage
- Enjoyment of teamwork, a careful working style, and willingness to take responsibility
- Very good German or English skills; additional languages are a plus
