Medical Practice Assistant Cardiology

For the cardiology outpatient clinic at the Cantonal Hospital Schaffhausen, we are looking for a medical practice assistant starting 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, with a workload of 50%. The position is limited until 31 May 2027.

What to expect

• Performing various cardiological examinations of outpatient and inpatient patients: ECGs, ergometries, blood sampling, 24-hour to 72-hour ECGs, 24-hour blood pressure measurements, pacemaker checks, assistance with transoesophageal echocardiography, assistance with loop recorder implantations
• Administrative tasks such as Outlook correspondence, appointment scheduling and summons management
• Collaboration in a motivated, cheerful and warm-hearted team

What you bring to us

• You have completed training as a medical practice assistant or completed training as a health professional EFZ
• You have a friendly, customer-oriented and empathetic personality and enjoy working in a team
• You have sound knowledge of medical terminology
• You possess good organisational and communication skills as well as an independent and reliable working style and adapt quickly and easily to new structures
