Job Description
Position summary
To support the ongoing growth of the Group, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the Treasury Paralegal Team. The Successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Treasury team on corporate, banking and finance-related matters.
This position reports to the Head of Corporate Governance, based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Treasury team with a variety of tasks, including:
- Opening and closing of bank accounts
- Handling KYC and other due diligence requests
- Managing ad-hoc account actions, such as updating banking partners on account mandates and corporate changes
- Preparing corporate governance documents to implement relevant actions
- Assisting with group financing and investments, including satisfaction of conditions precedents and facilitating the signing of financing contracts
- Liaise with banking partners, external counsels when necessary, and internal stakeholders across the Group
- Maintain accurate records and filing of bank-related information and documentation
- Manage the circulation and filing of documents for signature
- Provide local support to global offices as required
- Handle personal data in accordance with internal data privacy guidelines and applicable laws
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role within a banking or legal or international business environment
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions to achieve shared goals
- Excellent organisational skills, and with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures while working autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and French
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of seniority
- Proficiency in electronic document management
- Strong command of the MS Office (particularly Word and Excel) and PDF software
