About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of Compliance in JTI? As our new Head of Compliance, you will unify and elevate our teams in Business Ethics & Global Investigations (BEGI) and Compliance Programs and bring greater synergies, efficiency, and decision-making speed across our Compliance function. You will drive innovation, foster a culture of integrity, and ensure our compliance strategy is a true business differentiator. This is your opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, influencing and driving decisions that impact our global operations, and helping to ensure that we always do business the right way.
Key Responsibilitie
- Lead Strategic Integration:
Consolidate BEGI and Compliance Programs teams under unified leadership to drive efficiency, consistency, and rapid decision-making. Use insights from investigations to strengthen compliance initiatives and ensure alignment with commercial strategy and objectives.
- Preserve Independence & Integrity:
Safeguard the independence, confidentiality and integrity of investigations and ethics initiatives while prioritising and moving at speed, and ensuring the BEGI team’s reporting lines and processes remain robust and uncompromised.
- Leverage Insights for Strategic Advantage:
Transform learnings from investigations into actionable improvements for compliance programs and champion the use of technology to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Streamline Accountability & Stakeholder Engagement:
Drive direct reporting and alignment of compliance projects with business objectives. Lead proactive engagement and communication with executive stakeholders.
- Support Corporate Governance:
Provide high-level compliance support to the Corporate Governance & Compliance VP on governance projects and initiatives.
- People Leadership:
Motivate and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, ethical excellence, and high performance.
- Other Projects:
Manage additional tasks and projects as needed, adapting to evolving business priorities and commercial objectives

What You Will Brin
- Education: Degree in law, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in corporate legal or compliance-related roles, with a proven track record across multiple jurisdictions and international operations.
- Skills:
- Strategic thinker and effective change leader
- Business-minded with solid commercial experience and acumen
- Excellent communicator (English required; other languages a plus)
- Collaborative, innovative, and resilient
- Ability to influence at functional and corporate levels
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and technological skills
