The Gibeleich Retirement Home is a public institution for the care and support of the elderly in the city of Opfikon. It offers a total of 76 care places, which are distributed across the areas of long-term, transitional, and dementia care. In addition, the Gibeleich Retirement Home offers a public restaurant, operates a meal service for the residents of the city of Opfikon, and supplies 11 children’s day-care centres. With its various offerings, the retirement home is a meeting place for seniors, relatives, volunteers, and residents of the city of Opfikon.
