Rehabilitation Practitioner in the Field of Low Vision at 40% (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Low Vision assessments.
• Advice and information on Low Vision aids, their distribution, instructions and training in their use.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with the various professionals involved in the Low Vision rehabilitation process (Low Vision specialists / Orientation and Mobility / Activities of Daily Living / Job coaching, doctors, schools, employers, insurance companies).
• Writing reports and applications for assistance for Low Vision aids.
• Participation in awareness-raising and public relations events.

Your profile

• You have completed training in Low Vision or are an optician, optometrist, occupational therapist or trained in the medical-social field and are willing to undertake further training in Low Vision (funded by the fsa). During the training, the minimum required workload is 60%.
• You have several years of professional experience in one or more of the aforementioned fields.
• You distinguish yourself by an independent, structured working method oriented towards finding practical solutions.
• You have a sense of administration and organisation, as well as good knowledge of IT tools.
• You are interested in multidisciplinary and networked work.
• Your mother tongue is French and ideally you have very good knowledge of German.
• You hold a driving licence.
