Your Mission

As a Service Technician (m/f/d) at IEP Technologies, a company of HOERBIGER Safety Solutions, you actively contribute to protecting lives and making industrial plants safer. You work directly on site with our customers and ensure that our explosion protection systems function reliably. With your technical expertise and eye for improvements, you shape safe production environments in an international industrial setting. In doing so, you combine precision, responsibility, and customer proximity.

How You Make a Difference

• Installation & Commissioning: You are responsible for the assembly and commissioning of our explosion protection systems at our customers’ sites both domestically and abroad.
• Maintenance & Repair: You independently and solution-orientedly carry out maintenance, service, and troubleshooting assignments.
• Upkeep: You professionally inspect, analyse, and repair systems and components of our explosion protection solutions.
• Training & Instruction: You conduct customer training and briefings on site and document your work steps and test results.
• Testing & Securing: You verify safety-relevant concepts based on technical documentation directly at the customer’s site.
• Independent Working: You work in a team, occasionally also alone at our customers’ locations.

Your Strengths

• Technical Know-how: A successfully completed training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar technical field forms the basis for your deployment.
• Willingness to Travel: You enjoy travelling and have a high willingness to travel within Switzerland and Southern Europe.
• Sense of Responsibility: Commitment, reliability, and teamwork characterise you, and you gladly take on responsibility; occasional on-call duty is no problem for you.
• Mobility: You hold a valid driving licence (Class B).
• Language Skills: Your basic English skills enable secure communication in a technical environment; French or other foreign languages are an advantage.
