About the job
For our client, a renowned private bank, we are looking for a junior DevOps consultant, a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of experience, to join the team responsible for the data integration platform.
This platform enables exchanges between the company’s applications and with its external partners. It relies on Apache Kafka and IBM MQ for messaging, Informatica for ETL processing, and Axway SecureTransport for secure file transfers.
Your responsibilities
Within the team, you will contribute to:
- Setting up, configuring, and operating integration services based on Kafka and IBM MQ.
- Supporting application teams in their use of the platform.
- Participating in monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents.
- Contributing to the automation of deployments and operational tasks.
- Gradually developing skills in Informatica and Axway SecureTransport.
- Participating in platform developments and projects related to cloud solutions.
- Documenting configurations and technical procedures.
Your profile
Graduated with a higher education degree in computer science, you are starting your career or have up to two years of experience in DevOps, systems, or data integration.
You have a first practical knowledge of Apache Kafka or IBM MQ, gained during an internship, work-study programme, academic project, or initial professional experience.
We are primarily looking for someone with solid technical foundations in one of these two tools, eager to broaden their skills and who enjoys technical challenges.
Knowledge of Linux, scripting, automation, or cloud is an advantage. Mastery of Informatica and Axway SecureTransport is not required initially: you will have the opportunity to learn them within the team.
Residence in Switzerland is mandatory for this role
What the position will bring you
- Practical experience on a platform at the heart of the company’s data exchanges.
- Skill development in several complementary technologies.
- Varied technical challenges, notably around automation and cloud solutions.
- Regular collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.
