As part of the Corporate Newsroom, you will play a vital role in advancing the positioning and reputation of Sunrise. You will work closely with your colleagues in the newsroom team and the Senior Director Public Relations. We are looking for a proactive, highly dedicated and passionated person with experience in corporate communications / journalism and a focus on media relations.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Handle media inquiries, ensuring precise and timely responses
- Craft compelling messages, shape and refine narratives, media releases, Q&As etc
- Develop and execute media relations strategies
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with journalists to secure coverage, pitch stories
- Reputation and issue management, interview preparation and regular reviews of the company's key communication materials
- Taking ownership of specific topics in the Corporate Newsroom to support Business Units with their communications, both internally and externally
YOUR SKILLS:
- University degree or similar in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism or related fields
- 3-5 of experience within Corporate Communications and/or as a journalist
- Extensive knowhow of the Swiss media landscape and expertise in marketing and product communication (B2C and B2B)
- Editorial proficiency, sensitivity in language, and a confident writing style, ensuring a high quality even unter time pressure
- Strong in analysis, persistent in research and able to present complex topics in a simple and understandable way
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, French would be an asset
