Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 115,000Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced and analytically minded individual who not only manages finance and accounting but actively shapes it. Our partner is an established Swiss corporate group with several group, investment, and construction companies as well as various operational units. The company values pragmatic solutions, short decision-making paths, and continuous development of its processes and systems. In this professionally and operationally central position, you will work closely with the CFO and the finance team. You are an important interface to management, the board of directors, auditors, and external partners.
Responsibilities:
You independently prepare annual and interim financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER for several group, investment, and construction companies including joint venture companies
You act as the central contact person for audits and review bodies
You participate in the daily business of the finance team and support, among other things, creditor workflows, reconciliations, and joint venture accounting
You support the CFO and the finance team with technical questions, especially in the areas of accruals, valuations, and VAT
You build Abacus reports and continuously develop them further
You optimise project, contribution margin, and profitability analyses
You identify process improvements, develop Abacus configurations and interfaces further, and coordinate projects with internal and external partners
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education and ideally further training in finance and accounting
You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting or accounting
You possess good knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting as well as in closing tasks
You work confidently with MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with an ERP system
