What to expect
As an intern in the field of AI / Machine Learning, you will actively work in our AI team and gain practical insight into modern AI and GenAI solutions:
- Participation in exciting AI projects for our customers, from the first ideas to implementation
- Support in data exploration, data preparation, and simple analyses
- Collaboration in the development of AI and ML prototypes (e.g., proof-of-concepts)
- Getting to know various AI and ML approaches, from classical machine learning to generative AI use cases
- Participation in GenAI topics such as chatbots, assistance systems, or simple RAG architectures
- Support in implementing AI logic in Python
- Collaboration on backend services related to AI applications (e.g., simple APIs with FastAPI)
- Insights into cloud-based AI solutions, primarily in the Azure Cloud
- Getting to know MLOps basics such as model versioning, simple deployments, or monitoring
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams with experienced AI/ML and software engineers
What you bring
You already bring this
- University master's degree in computer science; master's thesis in AI is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Python and software engineering, ability to write clean, maintainable code and understand development processes
- Basic understanding of data, algorithms, and technical contexts
- Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working with complex issues
- High intrinsic motivation to continuously and independently engage with current AI topics, technologies, and tools
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
