Fixed-term March to October 2027, 40% - 60%
For the summer season 2027, we are looking to support our sales team at the Lucerne ship station with a service-oriented personality as a Sales Advisor. The seasonal position is fixed-term from March to October 2027 on an hourly wage basis and a recurring deployment in subsequent seasons is desired.
The Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV) Ltd is a subsidiary of SGV Holding Ltd. Its origins date back to 1836. SGV Ltd operates as a licensed, private transport company with a fleet of five historic paddle steamers and 14 motor vessels, transporting between 2.5 and 3 million passengers annually on Lake Lucerne.
Your area of responsibility
- Sale of SGV and public transport-specific services
- Advising our guests on timetables and ticketing for the Swiss transport network, especially on the excursion opportunities of SGV and the Lake Lucerne region
- Receiving and attending to customer enquiries at the counter and by telephone
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements profile
- Completed vocational training or equivalent educational level
- Practical experience in counter advice (e.g. SBB, KTU station) as well as experience in the sale of public transport services and/or tourism is an advantage
- Geographical knowledge of the Lake Lucerne area
- Confident German in spoken and written form, good oral skills in English and French, additional languages are an advantage
- Independent, customer-oriented and reliable working style
- Willingness to work irregular hours; including weekends
