Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced civil engineer for structural design in structural engineering. You will develop and be responsible for static concepts from planning to realisation and work on demanding structures with a focus on solid construction. In addition to static calculations and structural detailing, you will take on tasks in tendering, project coordination and technical site management. The position combines sound engineering knowledge with project responsibility and the development of economical and technically convincing structural solutions.
Responsibilities:
Development and responsibility for static concepts and structural solutions from planning to completion
Execution of static calculations and dimensioning for demanding building projects
Planning and structural detailing of structures in solid construction, especially in reinforced concrete and masonry
Development and comparison of variants of economical and technically optimised structural concepts
Preparation of in collaboration with structural planning
Preparation of tenders, specifications, technical reports and engineering documents
Technical leadership and support of project teams, designers and draftsmen
Coordination of structural planning with architects, specialist planners, authorities and contractors
Execution of technical site inspections and construction supervision to ensure compliance with plans and standards
Review of contractor documents, execution details and structural changes during the realisation phase
Ensuring planning according to relevant SIA standards and Swiss requirements for structural engineering
Support of acceptances and quality assurance as well as handling static and structural issues during construction
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH specialising in structural engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in structural design of buildings in the Swiss project environment
Sound knowledge of structural analysis, solid construction, reinforced concrete construction and structural detailing
Good knowledge of relevant SIA structural standards and Swiss construction practice
Experience in planning, tendering and technical construction supervision
Confident use of structural calculation software and Microsoft 365; knowledge of Allplan is an advantage
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
