Senior Consultant (AI-powered Digital Business Transformation)

Independent in our consulting approach and at the same time part of the ELCA group, we are the leading independent Swiss partner for AI-driven digital transformation, from strategy through management and technology consulting to transformation and implementation support. To continue supporting our growth, we are looking for experienced consultants in the role of Senior Consultant to strengthen our team in Zurich, Bern, and Basel.

Your tasks

Within the framework of focused consulting mandates or longer transformation projects, you will take on – depending on the need – tasks in consulting, business analysis, moderation, or leading essential work packages/workstreams and subprojects.

While you are very independent in your consulting, you will work, alongside ELCA Advisory colleagues, as needed with the deep-tech experts of the ELCA group, including architects, UX designers, data, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity experts.

This includes:

• Close collaboration with decision-makers and executives at clients, at C-level and across various levels
• Shaping the interface between business and IT – from strategy to implementation
• Independent planning and handling of workstreams, supporting and coaching junior colleagues, and knowledge sharing within the team
• Contributing to the further development of our consulting services in a focus area
• Supporting the building and maintenance of sustainable client relationships and actively participating in the development of ELCA Advisory

Your profile

• Passion for transforming organisations with the help of technology and positively changing the lives of people and society in Switzerland and beyond
• 4 – 7 years of professional experience, primarily in strategy/management or top-tier technology consulting with a comparable responsibility profile
• Strong consulting competence with experience in strategic projects in cross-functional teams
• Experience in creating presentations for corporate management and competence in conducting workshops with various stakeholders
• Strong active listening skills and high problem-solving competence
• Strong analytical and methodological skills, understanding of complex contexts, combined with solution-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent work and team play with excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel depending on project needs
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business informatics, engineering, or natural sciences; a specialisation in business or an MBA is a plus
• Initial certifications in common methods and frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT, SAFe, HERMES, CISM, etc.)
• Specific knowledge of relevant topics, e.g. Artificial Intelligence including Agentic AI, Cloud Transformation, public procurement – from strategy development to implementation
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (oral and written at least C1 level), French is a great plus
