Senior ICT Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 130,000Role:
If network and security mean more to you than individual technologies, this role offers space to develop infrastructure holistically. From architecture through projects and assessments to technical escalations, you take responsibility and bring modern security approaches into practice.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Infrastructure
You develop security and network architectures and translate technical concepts into stable, documented solutions.
You implement ICT projects and changes and accompany them until a clean handover to operations.
You further develop network and security standards and ensure their practical implementation.
Security & Development
You help shape the cyber security and network roadmap and evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches.
You further develop managed security services, security assessments and awareness offerings.
You analyse risks, conduct technical reviews and support demanding security and infrastructure topics.
Engineering & Collaboration
You support internal departments as well as sales and presales with technical questions and customer projects.
You contribute your experience in complex escalations and help develop sustainable solutions.
You actively share your knowledge with colleagues and trainees.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of engineering experience in networking and cyber security.
You are proficient in firewall, switching, WLAN, VPN and network segmentation.
You have completed an IT education and ideally further training at HF level or a comparable qualification.
You are familiar with modern security architectures such as Zero Trust and SASE and have ideally already worked with Versa Networks.
You have experience in customer projects and can document technical solutions clearly.
You work independently, in a structured and customer-oriented manner and keep an overview even with complex technical topics.
You have very good German skills and can confidently handle technical content in English.
