About the job

The KAST/AM specialist office (Cantonal Office/Labor Market) is responsible for all matters concerning the Glarus labor market, especially the enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG).

We are looking for a

Student Assistant 20–40 %

immediately or by arrangement for one to two years with the workplace in Glarus.

Tasks

• Support in the enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act
• Support with enforcement tasks in the areas of the Employment Services Act, acquisition of real estate by persons abroad, and consumer credit
• Contact person for internal and external unemployment law and labor law questions
• Statistical preparation of labor market data
• Assistance with labor market projects

Requirements

• Started bachelor's degree after vocational training or completed bachelor's degree
• Interest in economic and labor law topics and contexts
• First work experience in a similar context
• Solid Office skills
• A flair for numbers and statistical issues
• Independent and precise, structured way of working
• Fluency in oral and written expression
