The Solothurn Center Oberwald Foundation supports, accompanies, and promotes people with disabilities of all ages individually and purposefully as a result of congenital and acquired impairments, illnesses, and accidents. This takes place at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. These are your responsibilities
- You care for, accompany, and support people with disabilities in everyday life
- You assist with household tasks and the design of the residential group
- You work cross-functionally with other departments
- You support people with disabilities in their education and development
- You contribute to maintaining and promoting the quality of life of the people entrusted to us
- You enable people with disabilities to have self-determination and participation
What you bring with you
- You enjoy working with people
- You have completed a one-year internship or vocational preparation year before the apprenticeship. (Our open internship positions can be found at zentrumoberwald.ch/stellen)
- You are flexible, patient, respectful, and curious
- You are physically and mentally resilient
- You have good oral and written German skills as well as computer skills
- You are willing to work irregular hours
