The Cantonal Therapeutic Products Control Zurich is the supervisory and licensing authority for the therapeutic products sector. As a cantonal and partly regional competence center, it controls the manufacture and wholesale of medicinal products as well as the dispensing and handling of therapeutic products. It issues the necessary permits for therapeutic product companies and for persons working in various health professions. Due to an upcoming retirement as of July 1, 2026, we are looking for a proactive, team-oriented certified druggist HF as a therapeutic products inspector 100%.
Your tasks
- Checking the implementation of therapeutic product regulations in drugstores and home pharmacies (manufacture, mediation, and dispensing of medicinal products, maintenance and reprocessing of medical devices)
- Checking company-specific quality assurance systems
- Inspecting blood bank operations
- Collecting therapeutic product samples and clarifying marketability
- Checking medicinal products according to own formula for compliance with pharmacopoeia requirements
- Initiating administrative measures
- Providing specialist information and assisting in the preparation of information sheets
- Handling customer inquiries and conducting clarifications in close contact with professional colleagues in the office as well as other cantonal and federal authorities
Our requirements
- Degree as certified druggist HF
- Several years of professional experience in companies that manufacture and dispense therapeutic products
- Solid knowledge of medicinal products, medical devices, and industry-standard quality assurance systems
- Excellent knowledge of industry-standard specialist applications and information systems
- Skillful use of digital tools (inspections are carried out fully digitally)
- Reliable, resilient, and communicative personality with a confident demeanor
- Quick comprehension and observation skills
- Analytical thinking as well as confident oral and written expression in German
- Performance-oriented and structured working style even during periods of high workload
