Your Contribution

As an Enterprise Data & AI Platforms Architect, you passionately and with professional leadership drive the further development of the architecture of AXA CH data, machine learning, and AI platforms forward
You are responsible for the Data & AI Platforms topic at AXA CH and support the involved teams in the strategic and architectural development of their solutions. At the same time, your hands-on mentality helps teams with their daily solution architecture decisions
Part of your tasks involves advising product teams during the EDWH migration to the Lakehouse with a focus on data integration as well as the further development of cross-cutting reporting and self-service BI solutions
You also participate in the international environment within the AXA Group in Data & AI Platform architecture groups and initiatives, influence, and represent the interests of AXA CH there
Together with key stakeholders, you define data & AI architecture guidelines and principles. You ensure their compliance within the local and global architecture governance

Your Skills and Talents

You have a solid IT background and at least five years of experience as an IT architect or IT lead engineer – complemented by initial reliable practical experience in Data & AI
Lakehouse concepts, data warehousing, and data streaming are familiar to you; you have already gained some hands-on experience
You are familiar with the design of data products and analytical solutions in the enterprise context and know the analytics and AI services of Google Cloud
The following knowledge is desirable:

•Cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud architecture
•Reporting and self-service BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and Apache Superset
•Apache Kafka and Kafka connectors ecosystem
•Legal and regulatory basics in data protection and AI area

Topics and professional leadership: You have the ability to independently and in a team develop sustainable solutions and to inspire and motivate peers, employees, and stakeholders
You are a committed personality with a lot of drive, a desire to shape, and passion
In addition, you bring high resilience and pronounced endurance to act solution-oriented and effectively even in demanding situations
You are able to communicate effortlessly in German and English in a business context
