You cover pitched roofs with a variety of materials, install roof windows, create thermal insulation, seal transitions, and install solar systems.Work location: Rapperswil-JonaRequirementsCompleted training as a roofer EFZYou have several years of professional experienceFear of heights free and manual dexterityYou have spatial imagination and good physical conditionYou are reliable and a team playerYou have a category B driving licenceScope of workYou insulate and cover pitched roofs with clay tiles, fibre cement, metal, or natural slate. You set up the construction site and secure it with warning signs, cordoning off pavements, etc. You enclose the roof with nets and scaffolding. You carry out repair, maintenance, and renovation work on roofs. Before laying the covering material, you create underroofs and thermal insulation.
