Starting summer 2026, we offer an 80-100% position as Pastoral Area / Parish Leader
Your role:
With heart, vision, and team spirit, you lead our pastoral area in a participatory and agile leadership style. In dialogue with committed people, you continuously develop our pastoral work, promote personal responsibility and collaboration, and set impulses for an open, lively, and future-oriented church.
Your tasks:
– Leading the pastoral area with a strategic, spiritual, and human perspective
– Further developing a church that stands in the midst of life
– Coordinating and taking qualitative responsibility for pastoral offerings
– Promoting cooperation between full-time and volunteer staff to strengthen church life
– General pastoral care including organizing various services, celebrations, and funerals in the pastoral area
– You engage in regional networking and represent our concerns externally – committed and with a clear profile.

– Completed theology studies and professional introduction in the Diocese of Basel or equivalent training
– Experience in leadership, organization, and communication
