About the job
The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) Cantonal Association of both Appenzells is committed to greater humanity in the two cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Innerrhoden. Around 90 volunteers are involved in the Red Cross transport service and the Red Cross emergency call service.
Help out and give some of your time. You will be providing a valuable service to other people in your region.
Driver in the Red Cross Transport Service
The Red Cross transport service enables elderly, impaired or ill people to regain more mobility, time and a degree of independence.
As a volunteer driver, you collect passengers with your private car, drive them to medical appointments and pick them up again there. If necessary, you help find the exact locations and accompany them into the practice.
For the role in the Red Cross transport service, you bring joy in dealing with people. You enjoy social engagement and have your own private car available.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed and you are fully insured during the assignment. For the introduction, we invite you to an information event and a driving training session.
